The Iconic Tresanton Hotel in St Mawes, Cornwall, is hosting a Champagne Thiénot on Friday 25th November.
Olga Polizzi has been a loyal supporter of Thiénot for many years so we are really thrilled to host a Thiénot dinner there.
Nick Wolridge from Champagnes and Châteaux will present a selection of Thiénot cuvées specially matched with a menu by Paul Wadham.
To start the evening, Champagne Thienot Brut will be served in magnums for the aperitif.
For the starter of Cornish Lobster, spring roll, coriander and chilli we have chosen Vintage 2008. The beautiful freshness and lively character of Thiénot 2008 will pair the lobster beautifully.
Next course, raw Scallop, sticky rice, soy sauce and pickled ginger will be paired with the stunning Cuvée Alain 2007 which was launched a few months ago.
For the main course, we are pairing Château Rahoul, Graves 2010 with Tregothnan Estate venison, blackberries, beetroot, honey roast bacon.
And to finish this memorable evening – Thiénot rosé – an elegant rosé and the ideal partner to raspberry puddings!
