Tasting Note

Château Tour Pibran 2015 offers a deep ruby colour. The nose is enhanced by aromas of summer berries and spices. The supple and harmonious attack leads into fleshy, generous tautness on the palate. The finish reveals the balance and fullness that make this wine enjoyable even when young. This is a blend that showcases elegance and finesse without abandoning the powerful Pauillac style.

James Suckling

Some smoky notes as well as graphite and brambly dark-berry aromas lead to a palate that is framed in firm but fluid tannins. There’s some good depth and chew to the finish. Second wine of Château Pibran. Try from 2020. 91 Points, February 2018

Food Pairing

Great with lamb cutlet, venison, poultry and wild mushroom fricassee
