Domaine de l’Olivier is located at the highest point of the village of Saint-Hilaire d’Ozilhan. The Domaine has been in the Bastide family for 4 generations. They have a great passion for their wines. The harvest is done by hand. The name of the Domaine refers to the period in which olives were the main product of the harvest. To keep this memory alive, there are olive trees on every vineyard. This is a typical Côtes-du-Rhône with rich fruity, blackberries aromas, Provence herbs, velvety tannins and a real elegance. An excellent value for money wine

Hand-harvest

Selective sorting

All the grapes are destemmed. The two grapes varieties are blended in the same fermentation vat. The temperatures are controlled between 26°C and 28°C, to keep maximum aromas. The maceration lasts for 2 weeks

Tasting Note

Deep red with purplish touch. Complex nose with garrigue and blackberry aromas. The palate is lively with fine tannins.

We find the same aromas as the nose with a long finish
