Tasting Note
“Deep ruby-red in colour. The wine unleashes abundantly ripe, red fruit aromas of strawberries which continue to develop. Initially supple and straightforward, the wine is rich, full-bodied, rounded and beautifully balanced, underpinned by delicate tannic structure. This harmonious wine culminates in an appealing, aromatic flourish on the finish.” Frédéric Bonnaffous, Dourthe Estates Director
James Suckling
“Rather earthy and meaty character to the plums and mushrooms. Medium to full body, round and juicy tannins and a flavorful finish. Slightly funky at the end, but attractive. Drink after 2023.” 89 Points, January 2021
Food Pairing
Very good match with game, red and white meat, cheese.
