Giovanna continues to manage the estate, alongside her husband and children. 100% Trebbiano di Lugana DOC, this lovely new addition to our list has appealing fresh fruit on the nose and palate, with particular reference to apple, white peach and pleasant citrus notes; typical of this variety.

Vineyard & Vinification Note
The Citari vineyards cover 25 hectares of gentle, southfacing glacial slopes. The mild climate and the terroir of Lake Garda create the most favourable micro climate for the perfect, traditional maturation of the grapes. The limited size of the vineyards, the harvesting entirely by hand, the careful selection of the bunches and the most modern cellar techniques all combine to enhance the peculiar characteristics of these wines, especially their structure and intense, fruity aromas. Soil Type: Moraine with calcareous clay, rich in mineral salts and in fossils. Vines per hectare: 5800 n/ha . Manually picked from 25- 30 years old vines into boxes, several rounds. Vinification in stainless steel. Ageing: In steel for seven months of which about six on fine lees
Pale yellow straw colour, with glimmers of gold after ageing. On the nose, fragrance of fresh fruit with particular references to apple and white peach, pleasant citrus notes; Balanced, round, full bodied, persistent.
Tasting appetizer, it privileges fine and delicate dishes such as Oyster, fish dishes as well as in structured recipes, also goes with eggs and mild cheeses.
