Age of vines: 15 years old
Located just below the Puligny Premier Cru vineyard “Les Refere”, this is a flat vineyard that must be harvested quickly at harvest time and producers small, concentrated berries.
Sustainable farming
Ploughed with no weed control.
Harvest by hand. Pressing for 2 hours. Light settling. In barrels on lees for 12 months.
Racking. Vatting in stainless steel vats for 4 months – Light fining and bottling
Tasting Note
Big, rich and nicely oaky, exuding flavours of apple pie, lemon meringue and orange citrus and baking spices.
Food Pairing
Great with fish, chicken, veal creamy pasta dishes, fish in sauce, mushrooms and soft cheeses.
