Domaine Louis Chèze
Saint Joseph Red Cuvée Rô-Rée, 2017

Domaine Chèze is a family property taken over in 1978 by Louis Chèze. This estate is located on the top of the hill in the town of Limony, on the right bank of the Rhône, in the heart of the northern Côtes du Rhône vineyards.

Not a man for the limelight, Louis lets his wines do the talking for him. The reds are aged in barrel, using a mélange of eight different coopers to achieve his house style of silky texture, lilting perfume, and supple sanguine finishes. The whites are fermented in barrel and tend to show explosive aromas and rich, almost oily textures.
