Domaine Saint Hilaire is a historic vineyard situated in Montagnac. The 175 acre Domaine has been producing wines since the Roman times and was named in 1817 by its then owner Baron Hilaire Reynaud. Saint Hilaire is owned by Nick and Lisa Kent who are passionate about their wines and are investing to build the vineyard’s international reputation. Their philosophy is to let nature express the terroir through the grape, so there is minimal intervention and mostly organic methods

Vineyard & Vinification Note

Terroir: Light clay-limestone

Mechanical harvest at night at the coolest period in order to avoid oxidation and keep the freshness in the wine. Cold settling, fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at controlled temperature; no malolactic fermentation.

Ageing: In stainless steel tanks for 3 to 4 months

Tasting Note

A refreshing, easy-drinking wine with a delicate bouquet of peaches, apricots and blossom. Medium bodied with a crisp fresh acidity and good length on the palate

Great as an aperitif. Partners beautifully with salads, goats cheese, tomato based dishes, prawns, salmon and asparagus
