We may be confined but nature carries on and looking after the vineyards continues. Some good news at
We are extremely pleased that Action against hunger raised in excess of £350,000 at their Annual Gala dinner and Fine Wine Auction on the 2nd November. A huge success!
This is a sum equivalent to saving the lives of over 8,300 severely acutely malnourished children, and also more than it ever has done before.
As previous years, this event took place again at the brilliant venue 1 Lombard Street, London.
Each year, the event unites some of the UK’s top chefs to cook a fantastic bespoke meal for guests. This year’s chefs included Nieves Barragan (Sabor), Neil Borthwick (The French House), Jeremy Lee (Quo Vadis), and Monica Galetti (Mere).
Champagnes and Châteaux support each year Action against hunger and donated this year Champagne Thiénot Family Cuvées Alain 2007, Garance 2008 and Stanislas 2007 in magnums for their Fine Wine Auction & Dinner.
