Pouilly Fuissé Secret Mineral 2016
“The superb 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé Secret Minéral unfurls in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, crushed chalk, crisp white peach and honeycomb. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and multidimensional, with compelling completeness and sapidity, concluding with a long, intense finish. Such a high-wire combination of concentration with tension and cut is unusual in the Mâconnais, where power often comes with richness and heaviness. It’s an excellent wine that’s well worth seeking out.” 94 Points
Pouilly Fuissé Secret Mineral 2015
“The 2015 Pouilly-Fuissé Secret Minéral is developing well in bottle, opening in the glass with notes of almond paste, fresh pear, peach and oatmeal. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, concentrated and taut, with chewy extract and structure, underpinned by juicy acids. It’s not as textural or limpid as the 2016 rendition, but it’s a lovely wine.” 93 Points
Pouilly Fuissé Vieilles Vignes 2016
“The 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of lemon oil, honeysuckle, pastry cream, oatmeal and mint. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with bright acids, good depth at the core and a saline, tangy finish.” 91 Points
