Latest news from Mauro Molino - Barolo

Summer has finally arrived in Piedmont. After a quite rainy spring we now have beautiful days with a lot of sun and good temperatures. At this point of the ripening process, heat is very important for our growing grapes.
On the other hand, the rain is important in the first part of spring because it can guarantee some reserve for the coming summer, but then, in July and August, we need good weather so that the vines can arrive at the correct ripeness.
At this point of the season a balanced climate is fundamental.

Happy Summer and Happy Holiday from Mauro Molino Winery!
