Domaine Gueugnon-Remond is a small family estate of fourteen high-quality hectares of vineyards concentrated on a 6km radius around Charnay-Les-Mâcon. Established in 1980 and run by second generation winegrowers, Véronique and Jean-Christophe Rémond since 1997. They immediately decided to practice sustainable wine growing when they took over. Their high-quality wines are produced with strict respect for tradition, combining care and typicality of the grape varieties, representing the terroirs of the South Mâconnais.
Bringing out the very core of the terroir, they are constantly looking for the purity of the fruit and the mature expression of the Chardonnay. Fans of their wines since 1999, we introduced to the list late in 2022 their Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes “Cuvée de l’Aurore” 2018. Harvested at dawn (“Aurore”), it is a beautiful, full-bodied, round wine with well-integrated tannins. Stunning aromatic range!
