Beautiful and delicious scallops… Slightly sweet, meaty, and incredibly delicate, scallops are perfect at Christmas! Whether you are searing, sauteing or baking them, there are many excellent wine pairings, mainly with white and sparkling wines.

Estelle loves them with Champagne Thiénot. The Cuvée Stanislas Blanc de Blancs is a particularly great pairing which will go well with both baked and seared scallops. This great Chardonnay will complement the scallop’s slightly sweet, beautifully intense flavours.
