The pure chalk subsoil gives the wine its finesse and the propensity to suffer from millerandage, but with its small, well aerated bunches, it can reach excellent levels of maturity. La Vigne aux Gamins, vintage and single varietal Champagne, retains the specific character of the terroir, the year and the natural flavours of Chardonnay. It is the supreme expression of Champagne Thiénot’s winemaking expertise.
