46% Pinot Noir
41% Chardonnay

Vineyard & Vinification Note
Terroir: Grands and Premiers Crus such as Ambonnay, Chouilly, Verzy and Avenay
Ageing in cellar: 4 years
Vintage 2012: After a dry and icy winter, the spring of 2012 was cool and particularly rainy. The vines therefore flowered in very cool conditions with extremely low sunlight. The dry and hot summer will fortunately produce high quality grapes for an excellent vintage.
Tasting Note
Pale golden colour. On the nose, toasted notes, revealing hints of white and citrus flowers upon aeration.
The palate is full textured with a long finish.
Essi Avellan MW’s Champagne Report
This overt and rich vintage cuvée is a blend of grand and premier cru villages, most importantly Ambonnay, Chouilly, Verzy and and Avenay. Bright lemony colour, then a fresh nose of ripe but pristine fruitiness: pineapple in addition to yellow apple and pear, supported by a fine whiff of toastiness. It is amply fruity on the palate, too, with richness meeting freshness, and the fruit remaining crisp and crunchy. Although it is at a delightful drinking stage now, it is taking time well and slowly approaching its peak. Drink: 2022-2028. 91 Points, August 2022
Food Pairing
