Description
Dartigalongue was established in 1838 and is run today by the fifth generation of the family. It stands as the oldest and most respected house in Bas-Armagnac. Their Brandies are distilled exclusively from grapes produced in this area.
The spirits are aged to perfection in oak casks and are only bottled or blended just prior to shipping.
Tech Note
From the moment it leaves the still the colourless, crystal-clear eau de vie is stored in seasoned 400 litre oak casks called “pièces”.
The bas armagnac X.O. Diva is a blend of spirits aged in oak barrels for 10 years minimum.
Tasting Note
Deep amber colour, clear and brilliant.
Aromas of vanilla, prunes, toasted oak, touches of yellow-fleshed fruits. Lovely length in the mouth that finishes on tasty and spicy notes making it an easy Armagnac to enjoy.
Food pairing
Foie gras mi-cuit, chocolate fondant.
