Tasting Note

Beautiful pale, silky golden colour. The nose is powerful and offers notes of orchard fruits, juicy peach, pear and yellow fruit. The palate is round, fresh, and balanced. It presents a beautiful and lively effervescence of great finesse. Vegan.

Jeb Dunnuck

The NV Thienot Champagne Brut tastes like a baby Krug with its rich, nutty, powerful style. Ample apple and citrus fruits as well as a touch of minerality develop with time in the glass, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a awesome texture, and a great finish.  92 Points, March 2019

James Suckling

Plenty of bright, ripe-fruit aromas here – rich peaches, pears and grilled almonds. The palate has a very composed feel and a deeper, savory attitude with light honey and grilled nuts. A lot of character for the first cuvée. 91 Points – September 2018

Wine Spectator

Lightly toasty and mouthwatering, this creamy Champagne offers flavours of baked pear and lemon curd, with rich hints of coffee liqueur and pastry cream. Balanced, showing minerally smoke and spice nuances on the finish. Drink now through 2021. 91 Points, November 2017

Wine Enthusiast

This finely balanced wine is both crisp and fruity. Zingy acidity and lemon crispness are contrasted by riper apple and pear fruitiness. On the drier side of Brut and with lively mousse, this is a great wine for an aperitif. 91 Points, Editors Choice, Dec 2017

Food Pairing

A refined aperitif champagne with lovely freshness, Thiénot Brut will go perfectly with oysters, fish tartare or marinated shellfish. And, by contrast, just as well with parmesan puff pastry twists.
