Producing wines since Roman times, today the estate is owned by the Roozen family, who are continually striving to produce delicious wine, whilst protecting their environment. A beautiful estate of 400 hectares, the 186 hectares of vineyard spread over the hills at altitudes ranging from 280m to 499m, the site of the famous plot ‘Les Griottes’. Les Griottes is an elegant and powerful wine, with a dark purple colour. Slightly spiced and smoked, with aromas of berries, dried plums, stewed fruits. Also available in magnums!

Vineyard & Vinification Note

Yield: 30 hl/ hectare

Location: 15 hectares located on the heights of Val Joanis

Soil: Clay/limestone. Thick layer of pebble stones

Exposure: South/South East

Altitude: 499 metres/ 1637 feet

Vinification: Long maceration; 15/20 days. Stainless tank.

Ageing/Maturing: 12 months in 225 litres barrels. French oak . 30% of new barrels

Tasting Note

Les Griottes is an elegant and powerful wine, with a dark purple colour. Slightly spiced and smoked, with aromas of berries, dried plums, stewed fruits. Vegan.

Food Pairing

A perfect partner to a charcuterie board and Provencal dishes. Excellent with a cheese board (manchego, gouda, pont l’eveque, St Nectaire…)

Delivery Information

We offer FREE UK mainland delivery to most postcodes for all orders over £100.

Highlands and islands will be charged separately and calculated at checkout.

Delivery Schedule:

We deliver Monday to Friday, some bank holiday deliveries are possible, please check by replying to your confirmation email.

CENTRAL LONDON: We do our best to make all central London deliveries the next working day for orders placed before 12pm.

GREATER LONDON: Again for orders placed before noon we will endeavour to deliver the next day. Some areas might take us a little longer to cover, but it is unusual for these deliveries not to be within three working days.

UK MAINLAND: We deliver most orders around the rest of the UK within a working week, but some harder to reach postcodes like the north of Scotland or Isle of Wright might take longer. Please contact us for details.

Special Instructions:

If you have special delivery requirements e.g. by a specific date, am/pm, or deliver to a neighbour if out – please add them to the delivery instructions during checkout and we will try to fulfil them within reason.

You can also ask for a gift card with a personalised message to be added to your delivery at a cost, please contact us to arrange.

Please make sure we have your correct contact telephone number with your order.

If you need your wine by a particular date, please let us know when ordering by replying to your order confirmation email. If you are in any doubt about when you might receive your order simply email or call us and we will let you know.

Receiving your Delivery:

Please ensure someone is present to receive and sign for the goods at the delivery address. Goods must be examined; any discrepancy with your order, any damage or errors must be reported and logged on the driver’s ePOD device. Please call us if in doubt.

If you have given us an alternative address or instructions to leave your delivery at a safe place, our driver will do that but this means that we can no longer be held responsible for any loss, damage or mispicks.

Should we be unable to deliver we will try and deliver on the next available day. We might have to charge you the cost of re-delivering. This will be confirmed by email.
