Producing wines since Roman times, today the estate is owned by the Roozen family, who are continually striving to produce delicious wine, whilst protecting their environment.
Val Joanis is a beautiful estate of 400 hectares with stunning gardens and views over the Lubéron.
The 120 hectares of vineyard spread over the hills at altitudes ranging from 280m to 450m, the site of the famous plot ‘Les Griottes’. The vineyards also benefit from a sunny exposure and enjoy a particularly favourable microclimate with late ripening giving the wines freshness and balance.

Clear and limpid colour with green and old gold reflections. The exuberant nose has hawthorn, violet and white-fleshed fruits aromas such as peaches and nectarines. The material is rich and lines the palate. The finish is fresh and airy. Vegan.
“Bright gold colour with shiny tints. The nose is very exuberant, tropical, peach and honey. The palate mirrors the nose, gorgeous exuberant peachy fruit. Full-bodied, rich. Very long. Delicious. It paired beautifully with a vegetarian Indian curry” Anna, C&C
