Gadais Père et Fils Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine Monnières-Saint-Fiacre, 2016

This Muscadet Monnières-Saint-Fiacre is produced with old vines planted in 1947 and sits at the highest elevation in the vineyard. A complex, full bodied wine with a beautiful minerality and long, grippy finish. A top addition to our list!

Food Pairing: This Muscadet pairs well with a wide range of food.  A seafood platter, smoked salmon, mussels, seafood paella, steamed cod with vegetables and a little cream and a fish curry. Also, a great partner to avocado, tapenade and aperitif nibbles.

Benoit Gautier Domaine De La Chataigneraie Vouvray moelleux Saint Martin 2018 (50cl), Loire

A great addition to our Loire listing is the Vouvray moelleux from the king of Vouvray, Benoit Gautier.

The sugar is well balanced by an energetic mouth, persistent, with biting acidity. Barley sugar, candied quince, dried apricot, and beeswax. Beautiful bottle

Food Pairing: A great partner to spicy food, goat and blue cheeses, and desserts

Domaine Gueugnon-Remond Saint-Véran 2019, Burgundy

St Véran is always on our favourite’s list. Such a beautiful price for the price!

Gorgeous nose, floral and lively. Elegant, really nice freshness with aromas of vanilla, apple and pear. A gorgeous wine!

Food Pairing: deally accompanies shellfish, fish and lightly sauced meat dishes

Le Viognier de Val Joanis IGP Méditerranée 2021, Rhone

New to our list and we all love it! The exuberant nose has hawthorn, violet and white-fleshed fruits aromas such as peaches and nectarines. The material is rich and lines the palate. The finish is fresh and airy.

Food Pairing: This Viognier will go well with a mild curry, a chicken tagine or a vegetarian dish.

Weingut Gottfried Mittelbach Grüner Veltliner ‘Rosshimmel’ Kremstal DAC, 2020, Austria

Back on the list of our favourite whites, the Grüner Veltliner from Gottfried Mittelbach is just delicious!

Spicy notes on the nose, a little spice on the palate, creamy with a pleasant acidity, long lasting finish. Great floral character and acidity.

Food pairing: A great partner to smoked salmon, sushi, sashimi and carpaccio. Perfect with Asian food, asparagus, artichokes, courgette and fennel dishes; salads, cold meats, fresh goat’s cheese or to be enjoyed on its own

Marco Mosconi Soave DOC Paradiso 2021, Italy (Organic)

Marco Mosconi is a new producer for us. A wonderful family winery after our own heart, run by Marco and his wife Valentina. This is a fantastic Soave for the price.

On the nose, some minerality and gorgeous aromas of apricot, peach, and tropical fruit. Fresh, smooth with great acidity, the fruity aromas on the nose mirror on the palate

Food Pairing: Great to drink as an aperitif but also ideal with fish and vegetarian dishes.
