Tasting Note
Pale yellow hue with tinges of gold. Powerful nose with hints of pipped-fruit jam, apples and quince. Rounded and long on the palate, with a succession of apple and pear, fresh-fruit fragrances. Persistent bead of bubbles with a creamy mousse. Vegan.

The NV Thienot Champagne Brut tastes like a baby Krug with its rich, nutty, powerful style. Ample apple and citrus fruits as well as a touch of minerality develop with time in the glass, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a awesome texture, and a great finish. This cuvée is 45% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and the balance Pinot Meunier, mostly from Grand Cru sites, and it was brought up all in stainless steel. The dosage is 9 grams per liter. 92 Points, March 2029

Plenty of bright, ripe-fruit aromas here – rich peaches, pears and grilled almonds. The palate has a very composed feel and a deeper, savory attitude with light honey and grilled nuts. A lot of character for the first cuvée. 2013 base with 45 per cent reserve wine. Drink now. 91 Points – September 2018
Wine Spectator
Lightly toasty and mouthwatering, this creamy Champagne offers flavours of baked pear and lemon curd, with rich hints of coffee liqueur and pastry cream. Balanced, showing minerally smoke and spice nuances on the finish. Drink now through 2021. 91 Points, November 2017
Wine Enthusiast
This finely balanced wine is both crisp and fruity. Zingy acidity and lemon crispness are contrasted by riper apple and pear fruitiness. On the drier side of Brut and with lively mousse, this is a great wine for an aperitif. 91 Points, Editors Choice, Dec 2017
Food Pairing
Perfect for aperitif, cuvée Thiénot Brut pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish or fish tartare
