Grape
100% Albariño
Vineyard & Vinification Note
Follow up and quality control of the Albariño grape in the vineyard until it reaches full ripening.
Handmade harvest made in 20 kg cases. Bunches selection table.
Cold maceration (10ºC) for 6 hours. Soft pressing of the grape. Static settling of the juice in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation under an automatic controlled temperature. Stabilization of the wine, filtering through a tangential filter and bottling.
Resting in bottle for a month prior to distribution.
Tasting Note
Valmiñor shows a straw yellow colour with green and lemony glint reflections.
High intensity on the nose with varietal aromas such as mandarin citrus and orange peel, stone fruits such as apricot, and peach with slight hint of lime. It also has pleasant floral notes of orange blossom and white flowers. The palate is fresh, lively, and full-bodied, with a good structure and very well-integrated acidity. Very unctuous with a very long finish. Vegan.
Food Pairing
As well as to be enjoyed on its own as a refreshing aperitif, this Albariño is perfect with a plate of oysters, a seafood platter and fish. Great with citrus-based fish dishes but also can cut through some creamy or buttery dishes due to its acidity.
