World Malbec Day is upon us! The ever so popular Malbec and the ultimate partner to red meat.
Nowadays you can find at least one Malbec on most wine lists in the UK. One at an entry level and another at the higher end of the price bracket
We have 2 excellent Malbec producers from Mendoza on our list: Clos de Los Siete and Hunuc by Domaine Bousquet.
In 1998, Michel Rolland collaborated with a group of partners from Bordeaux, whose names are closely linked to the internationally best known Grand Cru wines to produce Clos de los Siete, a blend of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Info on Clos de Los Siete
We are also very proud to have added recently to our list the Organic Domaine Bousquet from Mendoza. Domaine Bousquet is internationally renowned for its high-quality organic wines. We have listed a couple of Malbecs at different price points. Info on Domaine Bousquet Hunuc
All of them to enjoy with a big juicy steak!
But Malbec is not just for meat-lovers – as a vegan pairing, a Moroccan chickpea stew or a flavoursome aubergine bake would work wonderfully.
We have some great offers available for Malbec World Day until the 18th April! Offers here
