Dartigalongue VSOP is a young Armagnac rather round, fresh, and easy to drink. Nice fruity aromas, white flowers notes, hints of oak and vanilla.

Dartigalongue was established in 1838 and is run today by the fifth generation of the family. It stands as the oldest and most respected house in Bas-Armagnac. Their Brandies are distilled exclusively from grapes produced in this area.

The spirits are aged to perfection in oak casks and are only bottled or blended just prior to shipping.

Tech. Note

From the moment it leaves the still the colourless, crystal-clear eau de vie is stored in seasoned 400 litre oak casks called “pièces”.

Minimum 4 years under oak barrels.

Tasting Note

Delicate aromas of fruits (cooked apples, citrus), white blossom, vanilla and light wood notes. Round and supple, this blend is a lovely introduction to the DARTIGALONGUE style.

Food pairing

Hard cheeses such as comté, dark chocolate and superb in a cocktail !
